Something exciting is coming to Hinesville! A community theatre! We will be producing two one act plays in May, along with two musical numbers that will serve as a preview of what is to come!

The two one act plays are:

The War on Tatem by Mark Medoff, directed by Brian Rothwell and Big Bad by Alec Strum, directed by Jennifer Buehler.

Auditions will be held three separate days at the United Methodist Church on the corner of Memorial and Main St. in Hinesville. Audition dates are:

Saturday, March 14 from 10am to 1pm
Thursday, March 19 from 6pm to 8pm
Friday, March 20 from 6pm to 8pm

I encourage all actors and dancers to come and audition! Each play will cast roughly 12-16 characters, ages middle school and up.

For those interested in serving behind the scenes - i.e. stage management, stage construction, costumes, makeup, publicity, box office, etc. Please attend our meeting on Tuesday, March 10 at 6pm at the United Methodist Church. We would love to see you there. This is a beginning group that is hoping to grow into a strong and talented group for the community!

Future productions in the works includes a musical later in the year and a children's Christmas prodution. The vision for this community theater covers all types of prodcutions to attract the participation and audience of all interests and ages.
